It will be at the Brown County Art Gallery from 1 to 4 on February 28.

Please bring your own drop cloth.

Head to the Festival of Flowers PaintOut and enjoy an outdoor judged plein air art contest and afternoon concert.
Pre-registered artists create artwork while visitors have the opportunity to observe the process of creation – outdoors. All work submitted for judging must be created the day of the contest.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase with the outdoor concert beginning at 1 p.m.

Paint Out Saturday, July 11th, 2015
This invitation is for both Indiana Plein Air Painters and the Ohio Plein Air Society members. We will have a list of exciting places to paint, both rural and cityscapes as well as hosting our traditional cook out on the museum grounds. Once again, we will allow for set up and sale of works completed on that day (no previous works from other paint outs) in the museum foyer. In appreciation of the artists we will NOT charge any commission on works sold that day.

Head to the 27th Annual Great Outdoor Art Contest and experience the tradition of plein air painting as registered artists paint on the T.C. Steele State Historic Site grounds from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Judging of the artwork will take place at 2 p.m. in the Formal Garden Area and winners will be announced around 3 p.m.
During the event, local artisans will be providing food and drinks available to purchase and there will be a live musical performance beginning at 1 p.m.

Mississenewa Lake Paintout
Sept. 26, Saturday, Converse, Indiana
Located near Peru and Wabash, and an hour from South Bend and Fort Wayne, two hours from Indy: experience a wide variety of Plein Air favorites from the hills and valleys of the lake area to the scenic farms, gardens of the quaint community of Converse. A limited number of boatmen will take artists to otherwise inaccessible areas, or explore the Rocky Run limestone creek bed, cliffs, scenic twists and turns of 10-mile creek, Miami Indian sacred Seven Pillars, or the giant stands of hardwood in the deep woods. This event has it all for whatever an artist prefers. Awards, local housing with residents, apartments, and camping information for early arrivals will be coming soon with a web address for key points of interests and registration.
